JOB DESCRIPTION:

Under the supervision of the Project Director, you will contribute to the strategic and operational management of Pixel sur Mer's innovative projects in the sailing, nautical, shipping, defense and aeronautical industries.

Main tasks: 

Project governance support 

  • Participate in technological and scientific monitoring (calls for projects, funding, sectoral trends);
  • Help identify and analyze project opportunities;
  • Contribute to the definition of project objectives and performance indicators;
  • Preparing steering committees (drafting summary notes, updating financial and technical dashboards);
  • Active monitoring of critical project deadlines (schedules, deliverables, reports, etc.);
  • Follow-up of exchanges with consortia (universities, industrialists, etc.), monitoring of contracts and commitments;
  • Drafting of strategic meeting minutes.

Operational Project Support

  • Support for scientific project management (planning, budget, technical coordination); 
  • Leading technical meetings and monitoring files and deliverables;
  • Assistance in drafting intellectual property and certification files, regulatory watch and procedure monitoring;
  • Participation in the documentation of cybersecurity and RGPD processes, support for internal audits. 

Partnerships and added value

  • Assistance in negotiating collaborations (laboratories, institutions, industry, etc.);
  • Contribution to scientific communication (trade shows, conferences, etc.);
  • Summaries and status of projects and identified risks;
  • Contribute to the promotion of results.

PROFILE REQUIRED : 

Technical Skills

  • Project management skills;
  • Proficiency in office and management tools;
  • Understanding scientific and industrial issues;
  • Sensitivity to legal, financial and industry regulations;
  • Read and write complex documents (European calls for projects);
  • Fluency in English.

PRACTICAL INFORMATION: 

  • Job title: Junior Engineer in Project Management and Innovation;
  • Contract type: Fixed-term contract/junior permanent contract available immediately;
  • Level of training required: 5 years' higher education (specialized Master's degree, engineering school or equivalent) in project management, innovation management, or scientific/technical field. Preferred training: Specialized Master's degree in Project Management or equivalent;
  • Reporting line: Projects and Strategic Relations Department;
  • Location: Lorient La base, travel requirements.
