Team Actual and Pixel sur Mer are pleased to announce the signing of a tow-year technology partnership agreement covering the entire Actual Ultim 4 programme. This agreement marks a new milestone in a collaboration built over several seasons and formalises Pixel sur Mer’s transition from equipment supplier to the Team’s official technology partner.

Beyond formalising an existing collaboration, this agreement reflects the evolving demands of offshore racing. The performance of an Ultim is no longer based solely on the quality of the equipment on board, but also on the ability to continuously develop and adapt it to the needs of the sporting programme, while ensuring its reliability throughout the season.

Pixel sur Mer’s Exocet solutions already equip Actual Ultim 4 for navigation, autopilot and onboard data management. Now established within a long-term framework, this collaboration supports the entire Team Actual Ultim programme, going far beyond the equipment installed on the boat itself. This evolution recognises a level of support that extends well beyond the installation of the systems. Pixel sur Mer’s teams are involved throughout the season, from the preparation phases through to racing, fine-tuning settings, evolving the solutions in line with the Team’s needs and ensuring their availability during the most demanding moments. This continuous support enables the team to rely on its navigation tools with the level of confidence that is essential to performance.

For Anthony Marchand, skipper of Actual Ultim 4 since January 2023, this is an immediate and critical consideration: when racing solo, every decision must be made with confidence. That confidence relies as much on the skipper’s experience as on the reliability of the information available to him. This agreement establishes that support over the long term, serving the Team throughout its sporting calendar.

For Pixel sur Mer, this partnership is part of an approach developed over more than fifteen years alongside teams and projects operating in the most demanding maritime environments. Offshore racing, yachting, maritime transport, defence and aeronautics: wherever performance depends on understanding systems and on reliable data, the company works alongside its clients over the long term, turning technology into a genuine decision-support tool.

This agreement reflects a shared belief between the two partners: performance is built as much on the quality of the people behind a project as on the trust placed in the technologies supporting them. The partnership between Team Actual and Pixel sur Mer will therefore continue to develop in line with the next milestones of the Ultim programme.

About :

Actual Team :

Since 2001, Actual has established itself as a major player in offshore racing. Supporting Yves Le Blevec since his participation in the Mini Transat, the group is one of the discipline’s longest-standing partners. This unique long-term relationship is built on mutual trust and respect between Yves Le Blevec and Samuel Tual, Chairman of Actual group. The sporting projects of Team Actual and the group’s growth have mutually fuelled one another. In January 2023, Anthony Marchand joined the adventure as skipper of Actual Ultim 3, becoming the youngest skipper in the Ultim class. He then took on the Arkea Ultim Challenge – Brest 2024, his first solo round-the-world race, further strengthening the group’s commitment to pushing boundaries. In 2025, the group acquired an exceptional multihull to compete in the Transat Café L’Or. The most successful Ultim in the history of the class then became Actual Ultim 4. Anthony Marchand and his co-skipper, Julien Villion, secured a podium finish following a highly promising transatlantic crossing.
